Common Italian Phrases
If you’re travelling to Italy this group of Italian phrases may help you while you are out and about. In Italian pronunciation is usually pretty easy since the words are written just as they are pronounced. Most of the time the emphasis is on the second to last syllable, unless it is accented. When conversing in Italian use the polite form “lei” when you don’t know the people or the confidential form “tu” when you do. These examples will be using the polite form.
